Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

"Where's nice for a day out?"

Out, or out-out?

South Wales

I can highly recommend the St Fagans National Museum of History.

It’s in South Wales if you fancy it.

There's an offer of a good day at the Ramada Hotel on another thread.

Free tea and biscuits!

Yorkshire

I was thinking of doing a similar thread for day trips so apologies as I am not meaning to hijack your thread. It's nice to know places to go for a nice day out. Personally I like lovely picturesque little towns with a few shops to browse, a local market perhaps, a nice trafitional coffee shop, a restaurant for a spot of lunch and in the current dry weather somewhere to sit outside perhaps and enjoy a nice drink. That sort of thing always appeals

Manchester (he/him)

It entirely depends on what you enjoy doing!

If it’s the hustle of a new city, a picturesque town, a fun filled thrill day, getting into country for walks, by the sea, a day soaking up art and culture… there are so many options
