I’ve heard they’re making a revival with new shops opening. Can’t remember exactly where though. Would be great if they make a come back

London/Essex... ish... Romford to be exact

Wimpy opened in Romford a few years ago but didn't survive for long. I went there for a bowler/brown Derby and they didn't have it. There was one in Dartford but its been a while since I went there. I can confirm there's good reason Wimpy restaurants are disappearing from the High St. Mediocre and greasy food. The desserts were the best thing about it.

I remember Green Shield stamp stores although I was too young to know how it all worked.

Wolstenholmes, was a book store where I lived. aprat from books they sold board games, jigsaws and modelling- airfix type stuff

Went out of business years ago, I got a lot of tech books at the time at really knock down prices.

Also Debenhams, used to shop there a lot
