Those WTF? moments!

Yesterday I bought a snickers for the first time in a long time. I honestly expected it to be 35p.

99p damn, those prices rose from when I was young, and people have been complaining about freddos, mars has been slipping that u set the radar.

On a side note McDonald’s is rising the cheeseburger price to 1.19 instead of 99p. It’s been that price forever (14yr actually).

What other moments have made you think ‘what the fuck is going on in this world when I’m not looking?’

Sweets.. used to be able to fill your paper bag for next to nothing. Now I get one giant shrimp, a fizzy belt and a few jelly babies.. £27.52

There is one shop left near me which is sort of how they use to be but the 10p mix is now about 30p but I still ask for a 10p

Mix and they give me it but charge the 30 I’m sick of this life hahahah and like you said don’t get me started on the freddos or a 99

The last price I remember for a can of (or any other leading cola) was 60p ish. It’s like I stepped into a time warp where prices changed over night.

I also still imagine a McDonald’s meal to cost £2.88

I know. It’s a day out.

Another - Blackpool sandcastle (swimming pool). £25 per person. So Me and my 2 boys is 75 quid, for a few hours. wtf?

You need to get a Snickers Dual (Home Bargains) 59 pence.

As for the state of the world, thats a loaded question Woody ?

A bottle of Budweiser cost me £2.99 yesterday in my local pub, not bad ? It would have been double that if I'd have been drinking in Newcastle Town centre.

Newcastle is a wonderful city to drink in, just bloody expensive.
