Brecon

Doing some house sitting..trying to work out their telly! It turns on fine but the sky box doesn't or isn't talking to the telly? I can scroll through AV but it's not doing much else Also WiFi is intermittent so can't ask sky how go to help

On the sky box front left. There should be if mains power to sky box an amber light on . If no light then no mains power.

Amber light use sky remote to turn on. Note my sky remote turns on tv at same time. So have a remote for tv also. Also possible you need to use tv remote to turn on if sky box not linked to tv.

Turned it all off and started again it beeped at me for pressing the Q thing ( I have a smart telly none of this nonsense at home )

At the moment it's an orange light and I have to turn the telly on old school.

If nothing, take the sky box plug out of the socket for 10 mins, then plug back in
