It doesn’t interest me, but it’s like any sport really. There’s a skill, tactics. The drama of what happens during the game etc.

Alicante, Spain. (Sometimes in Wales)

I don't like it and have no interest. I don't mind if others enjoy it though. Quite a few of my family are big into it.

It does irk me when it's constantly all over the telly during competitions. It's just a game after all.

Not a fan. Never have been. Which is kind of a difficulty growing up as a man in a working class community. You kind of miss out on half the conversations and things that bind the guys around you. But as a kid I much preferred Rugby Union and riding horses.

Yer when I think back at it I'm not sure if I had an unfair advantage on the pitch. I definitely used to get some funny looks and had a argument once with a referee who tried to claim my horses studs were illegal.

"Personally, I just don't get it "

There areany levels of fandom these days. I think there's a distinction to be made between a fan and a supporter. You could be a fan from India who follows Man United and orders their kit each season and follows every tweet. Or you could be a Bury FC supporter who sees the club as being part of the community and their own identity. For me, as a lifelong West Ham supporter whose club is more aligned with a corporate business these days, we still cling onto the core values which characterised the club but this is getting ever harder. I will always love West Ham to varying degrees. But football in general, not so much anymore as it is becoming more commercially driven.

DETEST IT the way I see it is they're a bunch of overpaid, over rated prima-donnas.

They cheat, have no respect for each other, the game or the officials .

RUGBY - now there's a game, those players have nothing but respect .

Love it

Playing and watching.

With the money knocking about I get why others have a dislike ... Although I suspect part of that is more they are rich AND the bad behaviour is tabloid click bait. But I can't begrudge the ones adding the value and entertainment getting the lions share of what folk will pay.

Don’t like it, never did growing up but in adulthood when I see the way it negatively impacts on family life it makes me dislike it more

My family all follow it though and it doesn’t impact on our lives and it didn’t when we were growing up either, i was shocked when I started seeing other peoples family life dictated by football

I'm not sure what kind of a mind you need to hate a game.

Zero interest in it either way. There's a few people I respect aside from their tribalism around football teams. I recognise that it is a strong driver for some people and comes from some subconscious reaction but I simply don't feel it and definitely don't want to.
