(Fecking autocorrect and fabbers)

Bernard Cribbens has died aged 93.

His acting career spanned 7 decades. IMO he was a very talented actor and could turn his hand to play whatever character he was asked to do, he was also one of the voices in The Wombles, Tobermory I think who lived on Wimbledon Common. He played Perks in The Railway Children, And a copper in Dr Who Daleks Invasion Earth 2150 AD. Then later as Donna’s granddad in the series.

What do you remember him being in?

I don’t really remember him in anything. I was only vaguely aware of his presence on the telly box. Probably recognising him most in the Railway Children.

Ruislip

I remember him in the Railway Children, Fawlty Towers, Jackanory and Dr Who.

Plus, does anybody remember Star Turn? It was celebrities playing charades. Just a TV schedule filler. He was on that.

Sometimes if a few threads on the same subject appear some of them will be removed by admin as to not clog up the lounge with the same thing.
