Why do people feel the need to message you then block you?

they ask a question and we are unable to answer....

It used to annoy me but now I realise I wouldn't want to get involved with people that irrational. Maybe my maturity is catching up with the amount of grey hair I'm getting!

If someone opens my message and doesn’t responded within about 5 mins I block them

That’s what the site suggests to do. No reply = not interested so I block

Maybe they’ve done the same

no we were not online when they sent it and we opened it pretty much within a minute of logging in

Maybe they just over reacted them

Single guys can send out 1000 messages with 99% of them going ignored. I get a little trigger happy with the block button.

Time travellers.

Basically what's happened is that in an alternate reality you answered the message but they didn't like the reply.

So they've gone back in time and blocked you, but fucked up on the settings of their time machine and gone back to just after they sent the original question instead of just before.

Happens all the time.

Probably a cheap Chinese knock off time machine instead of one of Elon's......

Shrug. Some people start out chatting, then you send a reply, get no answer, do you don't bother them, as that's the rule, and then they either say they forgot, or never talk again, as something better has come along.

My skin is now like a rhinos x

I didn’t block if they don’t reply, I just accept and respect that I may not be their type or they haven’t yet had time to reply. You could be missing out if you’re too hasty to block.

It seems lots of people wink or message and before you eve have a chance to see who it was they have blocked you. Some also message and when you reply you are ignored. We all know it takes all sorts, so just ignore and move on is always the best approach

I wouldn't let it bother you.

It's a common thing on here.

Had it last night with a guy, deleted three of his messages all within five minutes on here.

When he was told read a profile.

I was responded with I did.

He had stuff on his profile that states on mine I'm not looking.

To which I was told good luck and blocked.

Alot on here will block because they're not getting what they're looking for from someone straight away.
