"I saw a father and daughter along my street playing Kerbie, possibly for the first time since I played it as a kid with friends. That warmed my cold dead heart a bit " What is Kerbie?

"I saw a father and daughter along my street playing Kerbie, possibly for the first time since I played it as a kid with friends. That warmed my cold dead heart a bit What is Kerbie?" It was/is a game we played as kids where one person stands either side of the street and tries to bounce the ball off the opponent’s kerb. You’re not allowed to block it but if it bounces and you catch it you can then take your shot from the middle of the street. If they catch that then you’ve to run back without being hit by the ball. It was more fun playing it than how it sounds with me explaining it

" The abject misery on people's faces as they go to work on a Monday morning. C
