Any other ladies...

Any other ladies have irregular periods/breakthrough bleeding?

Since I had the coil last September is been crazy. I can't take anything else to control it and whilst I've made some kind of peace with it it is incredibly frustrating as it means I end up cancelling meets, can't go to club events and just generally feel meh.

Just wondered if anyone else is in the same position and how you deal with it.

Off to get some chocolate and to feel sorry for myself.

I was still bleeding after having the coil fitted so my Dr put me on the mini pill also which stopped the bleeding completely.

I can't take anything else unfortunately. They told me I'd love it after 6 months

Women are just fuck buckets right....

Have you asked your doctor to take it out again? Or to check it? I had issues with the implant and they made me keep it for a year until I demanded they remove it.

Life's too short to be miserable. Hope you can get it sorted.

I had the coil and bled constantly got that out had the implant and cried constantly, got that out.. am on the mini pill now and its been great a few weeks of irregular bleeding while it settled now no periods at all

Unfortunately it's the coil or nothing for me. I loved the implant and the injection.

Some do love it. Don't let them make you feel like it's your fault.

Maybe they fit it wrong.

I would have it out, it shouldn't take that long to settle.

I had the copper coil and my periods were really heavy and a week long. It wasn't much fun.
