Are you both into it?

The saying goes, couples that play together stay together. But are you really playing together or one of you is playing along to save the relationship?

It is off putting to see a beautiful but underlying tension during a meet. Check in on your other half to make sure you are still on the same page in principle and on each meet. Calling time out might be the right thing.

How does everyone else feel?

I met my other half here so I knew we'd both be good with carrying on swinging.

We both have phases where one of us isn't too bothered and don't come on fab much.we have a profile each as well as our couples one.

If one of us wanted to give this up for good,then we'd give this up.Its just an extra for us.

Sometimes one is more into it than the other, but surely that’s like anything in life? Depends on your mood and what you have going on at the time

I don’t think either of us would do it just to appease the other though x

Yes, we’re both on exactly the same page. Neither of us takes it too seriously and if the novelty ever wears off for one of us, then it’s divorce !!

I’m kidding - it’s not a priority but if ever one of us has a change of heart then we’ll both hang our boots up

We’ve been together 29 years and had our first mff about 25 years ago so I hope to god we ain’t trying to save our relationship ..

I have heard of couples tho where their was cheating involved and the innocent party got into swinging to try and stop the cheating .That isn’t going to end well..

It’s a lifestyle for some and it works well if you both buy into it and are enjoying it. Pleased to see you met here and you both enjoy the lifestyle. Some couples diving into this, it’s really worth pausing and looking at the bigger picture.

An assumption. I assume that one half of a couple would tell the other if they didn't want to do it or keep quiet.

There are all sorts of things going and I think what’s important is the emotional intelligence to sense it when things are not quite right and take a step back.

Personally I don’t want to be a third if I sense there is tension with the couple.
