"This is one of best England football matches (of any kind) ever! An absolutely fantastic advert for ladies' football It's all a bit too easy for them " Shouldn't be. Sweden are among the best in the world, many players play in the WSL and other high level leagues.

"I wonder if the Leicester Square firework bloke is back in town for Sunday? The England women's football, cricket and rugby teams have all had an incredible year. This should be the start of something big for all 3 sports. WSL sides should be playing more games at the main stadia, while the English cricket team should be playing test matches and at international grounds, not county grounds. " I kind of get your drift, but there was practically a full house at Derby on Monday evening to watch England beat South Africa. I'm sure a lot of local people who witnessed a brilliant game wouldn't have attended had it been played at The Oval, Headingly or even Trent Bridge, which is only 16 miles down the A52

I'm sure a lot of local people who witnessed a brilliant game wouldn't have attended had it been played at The Oval, Headingly or even Trent Bridge, which is only 16 miles down the A52 ( Mr) they draw in the boundary so close with the womens cricket , I could take a pee from the crease & hit a six " Compared to the men's equivalents, women: Throw a lighter discus Putt a lighter shot Run 10m less in the high hurdles Go over lower hurdles/barriers in all hurdling/steeplechase events Etc etc. But in football, which this post is about, the playing conditions are identical to men. Same size pitch. Same size goal. Same number of minutes of regular time and additional time. Same disciplinary system. Same rules. We all know and are reminded frequently that, on average, women are physically smaller, weaker blah blah blah and so to make some sports feasible, the playing conditions are different. However all the women compete against each other with the same rules/playing conditions and so the fact that women's cricket is played on a smaller pitch is utterly irrelevant. Women play one less Test day but play more overs per day, just to add. Just let women's sport do its thing and men can do theirs. No need to measure dick length or who has the biggest cojones.
