I really don’t like bagels at all. I can never understand the attraction of a donut shaped roll that’s dry and tasteless and has to be filled with strange things to make it edible!

Leave it in the USA

Savoury: literally just warm with tons of cream cheese

Sweet: cinnamon and raisin bagel with peanut butter and banana OR butter and lemon curd

Fuck, I want a bagel.

Bagels are Jewish in origin and if done properly are not tasteless or dry. My mum always said the best ones were made at a Jewish bakery in Stamford Hill, but she says the ones in M&S aren't bad, and easier than going to London every time you fancy one

In my clubbing days if spending the weekend at my parents, at the end of the night, I would stop at a bakers in Golders Green or in Kilburn, and buy a few bagels to snack on and load up with 20 or more to take back to my place in Ipswich for the week.

Like good bread, when fresh, a bagel is tasty by itself, or with a filling.

Don't confuse the bagels sold by supermarkets with the real thing.

It is the same with croissants, ones from the supermarkets don't have the taste and consistency of those from French bakers.

Salt beef beigel with extra mustard, extra gherkins. Brick Lane. Fresh.

Ideally with a beautiful man who I've had the pleasure of meeting a few times in a work capacity and otherwise who loves his food. The company makes it.

I'm not sure there is one.

If forced to choose I'd go cream cheese, gravlax, lemon...

But that isn't going to hit the spot when I want peanut butter and banana

I also don't mind a cinnamon bagel...
