I had mine done because I find them aesthetically pleasing. Occasionally they feel sensitive and tickely but that's probably more to do with hormones

I had mine in for about 10 years. Getting it done was one of the most painful things I've experienced, it never healed in all that time and when I took it out it closed up straight away. It hurt so much, and not in a good way, that I couldn't even let my partner touch my nipples.

My ex husband had his done and I found they got in the way! He removed them after a friend nearly ripped one out accidentally when he got over excited about a song in a club and grabbed the ex's t-shirt.
