Ever wanted to go on a motorcycle?

Off the back of a previous post about motorcycles, are there any members that have never been on the back of a bike but would like to try it?

We could maybe match riders and pillions abs give them the ride of their lives!

I've offered on the back of mine, but one response I got from a guy was that it was too effeminate playing pillion to a female!

We've not yet reached equality stakes in the world of two wheels... yet!?

Yeah we've all got a mate that's had a bad off or lost their life on a bike but to stay its certain or to tell me that it'll come is a bit of a dumfuckery statement to make. We all go out there knowing the risks and our loved ones tell us to be safe before we leave but I find your comments more than insulting and downright stupid.

Never a truer statement made

Adrenaline is the best drug ever

Sure fire way to achieve an adrenaline rush is on a fast bike with tunnel vision

The thing with adrenaline is it’s never enough you will always strive for more and more

But it keeps you alert and alive

I miss riding but glad in a way as roads are so so much busier from 20 years ago when I used to ride daily

I like the idea but my friend lost the bottom half of his left leg when he was 18 through no fault of his own in an accident. He was well compensated at the time but you can't put a price on it. That put the dampener on that idea for me forever.

"Yes but would need a childs booster seat."

My ex wife is an inch shorter than your profile height and she used to love it in the back of the bike. Small people make better pillion passengers, they have less weight moving around to unsettle the bike but a small person who knows how to ride pillion is a dream, you barely notice them there. The only problem I had with her was she would occasionally fall asleep on the back

I'm a bad enough passenger in a car, and really not a happy pillion. I once had an 18 stone girl want to have a ride but she thought she was some kind of race rider and every roundabout seemed determined to get her knee down. I've been easy ever since of having a pillion who weighs significantly more than me. Weight differential and my perception of the riders ability are my biggest concerns but only the first of these is more likely to have a gender bias

Death is certainly a higher possibility if you ride like a twat, and yeah, everything else on the roads is out to get you but if you spend your whole life worried about statistics, you'll never have any fun.
