Unprotected sex

Between here and over there

What’s peoples views on it ?

Understandably there will be couples who have unprotected sex……. But I had a nose on hot photos / videos and noticed there are a lot of people esp bi men who share videos of them having sex with no protection which I find quite worrying.

Please don’t jump down my neck……. It’s just a question.

Whilst it’s personal preference I guess I just wondered would it put you off meeting someone ? Purely for health reasons ?

La la land

Just looked at the first 3 pages of new pictures, and I can't say photos/videos of bi men having unprotected sex is more prevalent. If anything it's men/women.

I personally don't trust anyone and make sure I take all precautions needed to protect myself.

If you are having unprotected sex, with people you don’t know, or whose sexual histories may be a bit overloaded then you’re Playing Russian roulette with your sexual health

You just don't know. The only thing you can do is look after your own sexual health. We've met quite a few people who aren't bothered about condoms for penetration and most people have unprotected oral and in group situations don't wash their hands between partners

I think you control what you can, and that is your own sexual health. Not much I can do about others practices.

Firstly thank you for not taking what I’ve said the wrong way…….

Yes I agree your own health and safety is your own priority.

For me it worries me with regards to performing oral sex on someone. In my vanilla life I have never used protection whilst performing oral—— but it’s made me think perhaps I should ?

Just thought it would be a good discussion.

Would you be happy to use protection to receive oral?

I am obviously not a real woman like you, but although I would rather not have to I always use flavoured condoms (some are quite nice!) when giving men oral sex. Unless it is in a trusted relationship there are just too many STIs that you can pick up orally, even though it isn't as risky as vaginal sex, let alone anal sex. Personal choice, of course, but a lot of people don't seem to understand or care about the risks, which is up to them, but too bad.

Thank you for your reply x

Yes this is what has made me think I should use. It’s been an eye opener for me And I agree you can catch an STI no matter what which way you decide to do it.

One also has to understand that the only true safe sex, is no sex.

There’s only SAFER sex.

Have I done it? Yes. I've made a choice in the moment which yes could have backfired but I'm an adult so if consequences followed it's on me.

It's personal choice at the end of the day and what anyone does in the bedroom is no one else's business.

Then it down to discussing with your partners what you're both happy with

This is so true I do tend to wash between female partners soft play. If I can without ruining the momentum of play

What I found worrying when I spoke to the Health Advisor during my last check up was that women are not offered oral swabs by default.

Their reason being that women don’t just have oral sex and they would expect to pick up anything through vaginal swabs.

But in my experience most oral is uncovered while vaginal or anal sex is covered. This means a lot of women are not getting the full picture of their sexual health.

I actually fib when I have my tests done and say I have unprotected sex with men so I get offered the full range of tests, rather than what they decide is best for me.

It was how I was able to get the Heb B vaccine.

For a long time SHC were not giving them out, and they are hard to find in shops.

Most women I know have never heard of them let alone seen one.

We wouldn't rule meeting someone out becuase their pictures and videos show unprotected sex. It may have been with their partner (yes we all know it happens) or with a regular they trust implicitly. Communication is the key. Your own safety is your own responsibility if you are against unprotected sex then stipulate it and back off if it isn't going to be adhered to. If your comfortable with unprotected sex, and as long as you are aware of the consequences then that is your own choice.

Exactly this. It should be an ongoing adult discussion that you're able to have with another. Open to change as when and needed.

I tend to not play bare generally but I would with a trusted lover. Singular. I'm not opposed to going back to safe sex and have done so before. It's not just about trust for me, it's about personal health and general feelings.

It’s only polite to wear a condom I know I’m clean cause I’ve only been with one person in 30 years but nobody else would know or trust what you say so it’s just polite not to chance it and wear something
