It was so sad to hear that actor David Warner died recently at the age of 80.

I remember him in so many movies including The Omen, Titanic, Tron, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2, Star Trek 5 and 6 and and the 1984 adaptation of A Christmas Carol.

Whenever an actor passes on, I always watch a movie in their memory so in memory of David Warner, I'm gonna watch Tron.

RIP Mr Warner. You will be sadly missed

Indeed. He also did voice-over work for cartoons and video games.

That is sad news. A life lived. He was good actor. And he played a good role in the Omen movie.

I actually know somebody who got David Warners autograph at a Sci-Fi convention.

What a great life to celebrate, he was a genuine person as met him at a convention and had time for his fans.

He sounded like a great guy. I bet you were glad to have met him at the convention.

Don't forget Naked Souls with Pamela Anderson. A fine performance with a great script if ever there was one.

Worthing

By coincidence local cinema is having a 40th anniversary showing of Tron. A few of us got tickets a couple of weeks ago. David Warner played 'Sark'.

Was just by chance as was waiting to collect a signed Tron poster that Bruce and Cindy had signed for me and he offered to sign it too, it has pride of place in our office

Somewhere In The Ether…

A great actor indeed and will be sadly missed

He played some particularly great evil doing characters in his long career including the chilling pirate in The Island (scarred the shit out of me as a kid - and I shouldn’t have been watching it at that!)
