Secret hideaway in the pennines

I had forgotten how good a film it is.

One of the few Sci-Fi films that hasn't aged

Alien has stood the test of time too. Not a coincidence that they're both Ridley Scott films.

Blade Runner bombed when it first came out. Now it's widely regarded as one the greatest films of it's genre, and rightly so. An absolute masterpiece.

Rutger Hauer's soliloquy at the end of the movie transcends anything before or since.

Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?

I'm a big fan of Philip K Dick. The book is so good, but really quite different to the film. They're both great in their respective forms though, so do agree with you.

This is one of the films where you truly emphasise with the "bad guys"

Very stylish and timeless for a futuristic film.

In my humble opinion it's the greatest film of all time.

I watched the theatrical version yesterday, which I hadn't seen since the late 80's. It was a bit odd watching it with the voiceover.

Great film and excellent atmosphere. I actually find it quite relaxing to watch later in the evening. 2049 however was very slow, like watching through treacle. Might watch it again though as I saw it in the cinema and kept nodding off!

I enjoyed the sequel. There's a lot of character development in it that supports the plot twist at the end. It's beautifully shot too.

I actually enjoyed the sequel. Obviously not a patch on the first one. I heard a fair few people say the sequel was shit tbf. So maybe I'm wrong

Apparently this is the least favourite film of Harrison Fords. Maybe because his character lacked character its a film where the other actors outshine the lead. Loved Darryl Hannahs "priss" and the scene where Deckard shoots Zhora and she falls in slow motion though the glass panels, quite the contrast to priss's convulsive death. I think everyone remembers Roy's death as it is an iconic scene with great dialogue.
