BROMSGROVE

What is it with people constantly creating new profiles...changing the username very slightly but still using the same pics etc.

Pretty sure they're fake but wondered if there was another reason??

I've had a few profiles over the years.Mainly if I leave the site for a period of time I delete/deactivate my profile.

Then set up a new one when I rejoin

I'm seeing some that seem to change it almost daily though...Emma1986...Emma 1896...Emma8691...Emma6819...Emma1869 lol

I’ve left and rejoined with the same profile name, age, location etc

Reasons I’ve left is because I’ve either been dating, or left due to abuse but relented and came back cos I have friends on here, or last time it was because of Covid.

I didn’t think being online was a good place for me as some really toxic things happening to me in the real world at that time

I could have just hid my profile but that would have defeated the point in leaving and been too tempting just to log in

Some guys I’ve met repeated joined / left on a very regular basis so I just refused to verify them again - plus it implied I’d met them a long time after I actually had

I've done this many time due to "Fab fatigue" and "Fabathy"

The slight change in name would be due to not being able to use the old one and trying to keep it similar.

This site can be very draining sometimes and for some it's easier to just delete rather than hide a profile.
