Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I'm sure you've all seen the amazing Jasper story. So, it's not the dogs bollocks but the nose that's the key.

Will it help humans?

I'm not sure I would put my pet through the ordeal but Jasper looked happy enough.

I suppose if I had the choice and had a spinal cord injury I might give it a go.

Seem to remember my dog getting her nose well stuck in on a social meet Littleone, trust me if I could have swopped places, that would have helped one human for certain

Jasper was a paralysed sausage dog. They took nerves from his nose and implanted them in his spine and now he can walk again.

Surely its species specific? Can't imagine dogs nose nerves helping humans. Will be interesting if it progresses.

About 8 years ago scientists found a cell in aligator blood that destroys cancer cells but that never really went anywhere sadly. !

Christ I can't even mention sausage dog near my sister!! She has an obsession with wanting to bite them to see if they taste of sausage

Nasal cells were used since they transmit straight to the brain.

It was theorized and hoped that by using them it would allow the damaged spinal areas to reconnect to the brain therefore allowing use of the limbs.

I am not entirely sure which cells were used but they must be able to 'change' their usage or it wouldn't work
