When you look at a profile what is the very first thing you look at?

Age?

Location?

Body type?

Or do you go straight to the blurb?

Veris and pics, before I even open the message. Then the looking for, if I’m above the age range and they have sent me a message it really annoys me don’t know why!

We really send a first message, so that might have a say on how we do it.

Pictures, bio, verifications (if any).

Age and area are likely to have already been noticed with the info attached to message.

We're likely to do things differently if we're there ones looking to send the first message

If I don’t match their preferences but their profile pic is interesting, I might still have a browse, maybe fab a few, but won’t message. If they don’t match my preferences I’ll probably move on, but may still have a quick flick through pics

Profile text, then photos.

If you use the advanced search features then you already know if they fit your age, location, sexuality, verification status and any other important preferences- so all that is left to browse is their bio and their photos.

If when you're browsing you block any profiles that you're 100% sure you'd never be interested in then it stops them showing up in future searches, which cuts down on browsing time.

The tools are there to use.

I look at verifications first as that’s important to me as I know what I’m looking for and then I’ll look at the pictures and go from there
