Where do you consider home?

The place you were born?

The place your parents live or lived?

Where you live now?

Or anywhere else?

New Zealand is now my home.

I love going back to Norfolk where I spent my childhood, but here is definitely my home now.

Loved on Shetland for a time, had never visited there before moving and immediately felt at peace there, have never felt that comfortable anywhere else so would consider that “home” in a very spiritual sense

A certain area of Newcastle will always be home to me. I plan to move back there one day but the way house prices are at the minute that’ll take a bit longer than originally planned.

North West

Nowhere really. Born in Wales. Moved to England as a child. Spent most weekends and holidays with my Grandparents in the Lake District. Lived all over NW England because my parents kept divorcing and remarrying. Still live in GM but I feel more at home in Spain or the Netherlands, to be honest. I'm a nomad.

Next Door

My home and heart is in Cornwall.

My life is near my kids.

Now 2 of the 3 kids are settled, it's time for me to start making plans to find my final home

Hackney is my home. I was born here and escaped many times but always seem to end up here. I live in social housing so I doubt I'll be moving anywhere else.

Hackney is pretty awesome to be fair.

Home is where the heart is...I have a lovely roof over my head but after separating a number of years ago and moving out of the family home, I still don't "feel" at home.

Home was always also where I grew up and most of my family still live there... Mrs

At the moment I'm not sure...

in the week, I'm in the house where my children grew up, the last of which are flying the nest; at the weekend I'm prepairing my parents house for sale. Nothing feels like home, the closest is the weekend when I get a few hours for me.

For me (F - Mrs) I don’t really feel settled anywhere. Moved around a lot growing up because of my parents work. Moved around a lot as an adult myself bevasue I don’t really know where home is to be honest. I live in the same place as my mum and dad at the moment. But would happily move haha. J (Mr) has lived in the same area for pretty much his whole life so I guess he would consider that home

It's a little bit complicated for me as I have a home in Wiltshire & another in West Wales,I was born in another part of Wales, but until fifteen years ago spent most of my adult life in Wiltshire. My wife spends most of her time in West Wales & I'm on the electoral register there I guess it has to be West Wales.

Somewhere near here

I always thought the town I was born in. I moved away for uni on my 19th birthday, and was considered home until I moved to my house now 3 years ago. I’m finally happy with where I live

I was born in England, I grew up in Scotland. I guess home is where I live, but I would prefer to be on the West Coast in the Scottish Highlands.
