What accent do you have an absolute weakness for and what accent puts you off?

For me I love a posh accent or scouse, yet to find the two combined but maybe one day!

Also yet to find an accent that puts me off

I do love a soft Scottish accent like mine followed by Irish.

Haven't found any that put me off x

I love an accent. I'm surprisingly attracted to a brummie (or even better - black country) accent.

My favourite is probably a Leeds accent though. So hot.

A plummy posh accent doesn't usually do it for me. Bit of a turn off.

Not so many English accents really, maybe a gently North East accent.

A soft Scottish.

And a few European accents too.

Love these topics specially when someone says irish or Scottish.

That's like saying English or American.

So many different accents in each place.

"Love these topics specially when someone says irish or Scottish.

There are, but you can usually still identify them as Irish or Scottish as there is a similarity between them all.

It's the same as you could say there are different accents in most towns, but no one is ever going to get that specific as saying stuff like, "I like the accent from Badger Hill in York" makes you sound a bit of a freak.

As it happens, I like an Irish and Scottish accent

I have no idea what accent I have, but I have a video of me talking if anyone wants a guess.

Wouldn't say there's a particular accent I don't like but I don't like listening to people that ham up whatever accent they do have.

A soft Edinburgh accent is very pleasing, as is a County Durham accent. I hate that regional accents and dialects are disappearing. Hardly any of the kids in my town have a North Yorkshire accent now.

I work remotely with people who are based in Central London and I am told almost daily how everyone loves my accent.

I phoned Carlisle today enquiring about a new car and the lady instantly told me how she loved my accent. It wasn't so cute when she couldn't understand my accent when I said the number plate or gave my postcode.

I like lots of accents, I think something different to my own is lovely. Mr NBVN is from Dartford but moved to Wales over 20 years, I think he sounds posh but when he gets told he has picked up a Welsh twang. I am literally rubbing off on him... phwoar
