Guys that stand up women constantly

Been stood up 6 times in a row by a guy. Keeps making excuses that he has the kids or something important cane up. They might as well have no balls. Why do they demand a meet constantly then when it come to meeting they bail?? Guys...you do know women can easily get other men right away right??

It's not a gender issue, it's a shitty people issue. I don't understand as why as 'adults' we can't just communicate. If they aren't feeling it anymore the cool but ghosting or letting people down isn't the way to handle yourself on here. Most of the reasons why I don't meet anymore is because of this.

On your point, I would never give someone the opportunity to let me down more than once. First time is understandable but more than that they are taking the piss. Cut it and move on

6 chances? Well that doesnt seem like the normal behaviour for a woman on here. Methinks something is amiss here and were not getting the full picture.

Either that or the cynic in me would think this this is a post for a reasonably attractive woman to have smoke blown up her arse. But surely thats not the case, is it...?

Whataboutery is frowned upon here but there is a domino effect on fab.

If you are being stood up constantly regardless of whether it's by one person or more it's time to change your approach and look at the common denominator.

It doesn't matter if you are male or female but if you constantly complain publicly about your negative experiences that will just make more people ignore you because they don't need that negativity.

Men get tarred with this brush all the time but we are allowed to change our minds just as women are and we aren't obliged to give a reason.

Some women are serial ghosters and stand guys up all the time because of backup plans etc so it's often a knock-on effect of their own words or actions.

Op. If I say I will turn up it’s a definite.

I’ve said maybe and then turned into a no. But if it’s in my diary It would have to be an emergency for me to cancel or stand someone up.

I’ve been stood up, it feels shit and I don’t do what I wouldn’t want done to me.

Welcome to fab

Yeah I wouldn't give someone 6 chances. No more chances if they just stood me up. 1 if they cancelled at short notice or had a very apologetic explanation within a reasonable time frame.

I think some people enjoy knowing someone is willing to meet them for sex more than actually doing it.

All over the place! Northwesr, , Southwest

I've been fortunate to never have been stood up before, but the phenomenon isn't gender exclusive. I've seen numerous instances of men being stood up by women as well on here.

Doesn't make it any less unpleasant I imagine

Unfortunately it’s a common thread and not just with single guys.

I have been stood up by couples and on one occasion by a woman which cost me a hotel room even after she messaged 30 mins before she was on her way

Some folks just like the chase but won’t meet when it comes to it

2 is a block, things do happen and you have to give delegates of the doubt, 6 times tho is a joke.

I'm sure you would get plenty of single guys drive half way cross the country to meet you.

When you find a genuine guy who is an actual swinger and not just a single guy wanting to empty his sack you will have fun.

We go to clubs where we see single guys who turn up regular, they meet single ladies there and then from chatting to them they get alot who want to meet away from clubs.

Maybe be a bit more selective, you will have more fun when you find s decent one.

You're allowing that behaviour though. Put some boundaries in place and maybe you will find guys don't treat you like that.

You didn't but you're letting him do it to you which I'd the point this guy is making.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. At some point you need to stop enabling the behaviour of the guy that keeps standing you up.

"We met a few times but seems like he can get better elsewhere so I'll just leave it at that."

So you've met him several times, then he stands you up repeatedly and are still willing to make plans to meet again?

He may feel he can get better elsewhere.

There may be valid reasons why he has to cancel last minute - which we'll never know.

He may feel that as he's been able to ditch a meet before and still make future plans with you that there's not actually an issue and that he isn't aware you're frustrated because you still keep agreeing to meet. Some people have no issue with loose arrangements and last minute changes of plans.

There may of course be a reason he keeps bailing that he hasn't told you about. He may well not want to meet again but doesn't want to tell you outright and hopes you'll take the hint and ditch him he he stands you up enough. Some people find that easier to do than be honest.

If you keep enabling this behaviour by making future plans with someone who continually lets you down then you have to take some responsibility for what's happening.

Cut contact and move on.

A

Your wrong there. The top guys get picked for their attractiveness. Not their morals

If you find a top guy with morals, marry him

But can you blame them? 10% of guys probably get 90% of the meets. They don’t need to have morals

You have a poor opinion of women. I don't know any who will put up with being treated like crap because a guy is attractive. The women I know who have put up with being treated like crap is because they love him. And I've seen that story on here too more than once.

I've had this before. Although I do tend to attract men with ASD, depression, anxiety and personality disorders. Hence the multiple chances. Now I'm strictly the world's worst bartender, one shot is all you get.

I still get messages from people that have messed me about and even though we had nice chats during the stringalongs I won't meet them. If they are serious I'm at clubs every week. They can turn up there if they have changed and are legit.

OP, not everyone is the same as us. I hate wasting time and being led on. For many this is just a "sexy on line game" to wank to.

However there are a fair few awesome people on here. Hope you find a few x

It might be disrespectful of the person who lets someone down six times but it also indicates a lack of self respect or desperation for the person allowing it that many times..

"Here’s the thing your missing

The guys your picking are the best guys. All the other women are picking them too

They didn’t stand you up and sit at home

They went with the better option

The top guys have plenty of options

"Top guys" don't treat women with this level of disrespect

Your wrong there. The top guys get picked for their attractiveness. Not their morals

If you find a top guy with morals, marry him

But can you blame them? 10% of guys probably get 90% of the meets. They don’t need to have morals

You have a poor opinion of women. I don't know any who will put up with being treated like crap because a guy is attractive. The women I know who have put up with being treated like crap is because they love him. And I've seen that story on here too more than once.

Being treated like crap falls more into the longer term stuff. I’m talking short term stuff like first meets on here. Don’t twist it

And my comment says nothing about my opinion of women either, so don’t twist that.

The most attractive guys get picked the most. So why can you expect them to value their meets when they get so many offers.

People seem to think that a guy stands you up because he’s sat at home doing nothing. It’s more likely that other women said yes to him for the same reason you did, and he just didn’t pick you that night

I judged your opinion on women from your statement that they judge a top guy on attractiveness only. Which is shallow.

"The most attractive guys get picked the most. So why can you expect them to value their meets when they get so many offers. "

Because it's basic respect for others.

I think your shallow for assuming when I say top guy I mean only looks

Top guys have it all. Looks, charm, body, humour, charism etc "

Charm, humour, charisma but stands women up for a better offer? Not a top guy. I did interpret attractiveness as looks not because I am shallow but because this site is.

We just see the world differently. And men and women differently.

We can agree there

I think a lot of the top guys get a lot of options. So they stand people up a lot for a better option. Their kids in a candy store.

Statistics and data from the dating apps support this. About 10% of the guys get 90% of the matches.

I’m not saying it’s a nice thing to do, but when a guy gets a lion share of the meets in his pocket, is anyone surprised when he isn’t exactly moral about who/how he meets

I'm assuming this is tongue in cheek or is that really how you approach fab?

Are men supposed to feel grateful that women even look at them?

Do people really look at a few pics on a profile and that's enough to say they are amazing and it's mad that anyone could consider standing them up?

We've had a couple call us saying they are outside a house to attend a private party but are too nervous to come in by themselves can someone come out to collect them, give them a bit of support.

OK, what car are you in?

Pop outside the house, guess what, not there. Call the phone, no answer.

It can happen to us all, take it on the chin, move on and have a ball.

"Whataboutery is frowned upon here but there is a domino effect on fab.

Some women are serial ghosters and stand guys up all the time because of backup plans etc so it's often a knock-on effect of their own words or actions."

Totally agree with this

May I also point out my dislike of the OP's last sentence, the attitude that sentence carries is rather unfortunate and is not an attitude I share.

If this thread was written by a man it would read:

You wouldn't believe it, I travelled 40 miles to a meet last night after chatting to this woman for days. We got on great, exchanged pics and had bants from the off that you just don't get from any other chats.

I just don't know what happened, I got to the car park, I contacted her on fab, she was on at the time, and she immediately went off-line. I stayed for 20mins and contacted her again - nothing. Contacted her again 20 mins later, after an hour I got something to eat and still had no reply, waited another 15 mins and got a reply that she had to cancel but could meet next week as something came up she couldn't get out of but thought she could rearrange it.

She hasn't given me her number yet, but still looking forward to meeting her. Still trying to get her address as I don't understand why I arrived at a car park.. anyone else experienced this?

I've been stood up several times now by women, so it affects both sexes and I suspect couples as well. For those of us that are genuine, its so frustrating!

I waited 50 odd minutes for the last couple to not turn up. (Well I was in a pub garden, the weather was beautiful, and the beer was nice and cool so stayed longer than I normally would!).

Like so many other have said OP, I wouldn't give anyone 6 chances, no matter how good they looked, sounded and promised. 2 usually 3 at the every most. Make sure you report him as a 'no show'. If the genuine one's all report 'no shows' then perhaps we can get rid of some of the time wasters from this site!

If a guy complains about scenarios like this a lot of people will quickly tell him he wasn't chatting to a woman at all

Here's a little twist on that and I wonder how many have even considered it?

There is a sizeable percentage of women here who have multiple accounts including single male accounts. They have all sorts of excuses for having them including safety reasons but they often use them to befriend and chat to other women that they may view as direct competition.

Based on that I wouldn't be too surprised if some of those guys standing women up weren't actually guys at all.

I have a 2 strike rule.. life happens so sometimes there can be a valid excuse. I know I have had to cancel a meet due to a child ending up in hospital but I did let them know as soon as I could.

However wrt another posters reference to if someone is a top guy ie a popular member of fab coveted by many ladies therefore they have lots of choice so don’t hang around etc….I’m sorry but that doesn’t wash as a valid excuse.

Many women on here are popular & coveted and could have meets morning noon & night with attractive men.

But I would hazard a guess that for most of these ‘top’ women if they arrange a meet they won’t ditch it for a last minute better offer.

It’s just a display of arrogance & disrespect & entitlement end of.

But it also suggests that women shouldn’t look for top/(perceived) attractive guys and instead settle for someone less attractive to them because they may be more reliable & grateful.

It almost feels like your saying ‘hey women know your place in the pecking order…

Mrs4 operates on a first strike and your out policy now as far better things to do with our limited time together she says ..mind couples can and are just as bad though ...as been let down far more times by them than by males ?? but life does get in the way sometimes and we are quite proud of our record of only cancelled twice on meets over the many years we've been on the scene ( reason we only ever meet on a saturday night )

There is a sizeable percentage of women here who have multiple accounts including single male accounts. They have all sorts of excuses for having them including safety reasons but they often use them to befriend and chat to other women that they may view as direct competition.

"If this thread was written by a man etc etc..

If a guy complains about scenarios like this a lot of people will quickly tell him he wasn't chatting to a woman at all

Here's a little twist on that and I wonder how many have even considered it?

There is a sizeable percentage of women here who have multiple accounts including single male accounts. They have all sorts of excuses for having them including safety reasons but they often use them to befriend and chat to other women that they may view as direct competition.

That seriously belongs in the conspiracy theory box.

Even for some of the bat shit crazy women I've met in my life that idea is hilarious. But I'm sure it's a convenient theory to back up other views on why things happen on this site. Much like the underground covens of female site users deciding between them who's worthy of meeting and who isn't and how certain cliques control the forums and dictate which posts get attention and which don't.

Honestly the most tin foil hat comment I think I've read in over a decade on the forums.

No I spoke to one guy extensively before he stood me up. After waiting over 30 mins at the location, I went home trying to call him dozens of times. He eventually told me he accidentally left his phone at work and make it up to me....like heck he did ...just properly ghosted me. So all those months chatting endlessly on the phone wasted ...weird

I'm delighted I've given you a laugh in your little cabin in the hills.

As I've said many times here before it appears the longer you are here the more blinkered some people become.

In all my time posting on the forums I've yet to put forward any theories.

There is method in every post I make and as I already said above this does actually happen because I've seen the agressors and I've seen when they mistakenly post on the forums using the wrong account or continue a private conversation using a different profile from the one that started it.

As to people dictating what others can or can't do on fab, maybe start a thread and ask for contributions from all those who know prominent forumites who are no longer on the site because they have been outed on social media to their families by disgruntled women and their backing singers.

Just because you may think it's bat shit crazy or the fact you've been here so long doesn't take away the fact that Thundercunts aren't a fab urban myth.

1. Don't call me old.

2. What would you know about being an old woman ?

3. Is it a swamp somewhere?

4. I'm very careful about what I say.

5. I didn't say anything I wanted to.

6. I don't know what you are on about."

1. I didn't, I used it to describe an age bracket that I consider you (or at least your online persona) fit into. It's a loose term, young - middle aged - old. I can't remember if I've seen your age but for some reason I have this mental image of a person in their 60's. For me the boundary between 'middle aged' and 'old' is pretty vague, I'm starting to feel old at 43, I'm sure I will consider myself old if only in numbers by my mid 50's. I did not mean offense and apologise if I caused it.

2. Depends what you're asking. If it is what experience do I have of being an old woman? The answer is none. If it is what have you been told about being, noticed about those who are or experienced from old women? I'd say roughly about the same as any other person my age.

3. No

4. I never suggested you weren't. In fact I'm absolutely certain you are.

5. I apologise, you can say also anything you don't want to ... if you want. Or something like that.

6. That's ok, I don't either.

"

By this logic, no woman would value any of their meets.
