"Uuuuuhm, I think he has quite a good voice but is a bit of a one-trick pony. It won't be long before someone comes along, works him out and bursts his Buble. Oh no, that's terrible even for me. *Slopes off in shame. " . Oh dear, you and your word play!

"I guess to me he sounds a bit too Joe Longthorne" Don't let Joe hear you say that.... Oh no, it's alright - carry on.

"I am a big rat Pack fan, and I find him a poor imitation of those Crooners who had real talent. I dont mind him singing his own stuff, but wished he would leave the American Song Book alone... I guess to me he sounds a bit too Joe Longthorne" . Much as I like the original versions, I do like to hear new versions of the oldies from time to time. However, if anyone touches Witchcraft, then I'll bite his head off, as no one does it better than Frank Sinatra, IMHO! Did you see the Rat Pack show? Highly recommended if it comes your way.

"Sorry, don't agree. Frank Sinatra has a greater range than Dean Martin IMHO. " Its all a matter of taste but Dean Martin sold more records than Sinatra

"Indeed a matter of taste. Quantity does not equate to quality! " So correct quantity does not equate to quality, I just read that Sinatra sold more than Martin it was a long time ago that I read it was the other way round and it may have been correct at the time I realy dont know but I will stand by your statement

"The last few years has produced a good number of 'Rat Pack' wannabes and i think more through personality and a wide ranging appeal to women, he has got farther than the others. I can see why he is successful, but just so you are all aware, I would prefer something else for Christmas other than Michael Buble tickets. Thank You " Lol Or his greatest hits thanks.

"Probably just a coincidence, but most of the anti Buble posts are from men!..just saying" So, let me redress the balance and say that from my viewpoint, Michael Buble is far above a lot of the other "so called talent" around these days. However, each to their own; I enjoy his style, in just the same way as Jamie Cullum!

"Probably just a coincidence, but most of the anti Buble posts are from men!..just saying" which leads to the next 2 threads. 1. Are women tone deaf? 2. Just so long as a man is famous and wears a tuxedo, does it matter if he is a jug earred ugly git? Eg. Michael Bubble and Daniel Craig

"I think even by doing covers and making songs current and fresh he is keeping rat pack alive for upcoming generations who would never have wanted to listen to it before." Or turns them away from giving the true greats a listen, as they may think Dino and Frank will sound like muzak too?

"Sure, he's talented, he'll appeal to some and not to others. He's better singer than I am, but I bet I can drink more beer and eat more chips than he can " He's Canadian, isn't he? He may be able to match you. Harry Connick Jr over Buble for me but I always love the originals.
