I vape.

Currently mostly using a Steamcrave Aromamizer V2 with 18ml extension on top of a Wotofo MDrura Pro mod.

Occasionally I'll break out a mech and RDA but dripping is a bit of a pain these days.

Nice set up. I switch between 2. A topside dual with ripsaw rda and a pulse v2 with a blank rda. Squonking is the way to go if you don't like dripping

Had a Topside Dual and loved it but it died after 6 months. Dual battery squonks aren't common and single cell ones don't last long enough for the way I like to vape.

I have read up and although there is evidence that the chemicals being inhaled are not as bad as smoking there is potential that vapors are slowly drowning themselves. Vapour condenses back into liquids which go in to your lungs hence filling then slowly, cigarette smoke does not do that.

Apart from random smells of fruit and unicorns, there are no toxic cancer causing fumes for those who are just in the same room.

For those actually vaping rather than smoking, there is no Tar, Carbon Monoxide, Arsenic, Benzine, Formaldehyde, Vinyl Chloride or Cadmium. There CAN be toxic chemicals in vapes, but they're in much smaller quantities than in cigarette smoke.

PUBLIC HEALTH ENGLAND STATE VAPING IS 95% SAFER THAN SMOKING!

Also... cigarette smoke smells MUCH worse, the stink from even that last lung-full that you didn't exhale until you'd walked through the door will permeate through an entire room in seconds and linger for ages. It also stays in your clothes, on your skin, and in your hair.

But it is not smoke, it is by very definition vapour which does not linger. Smoking stinks and lingers as stake smoke and also makes breath stink. I am neither a smoker nor vaper but to say vaping smells worse than smoking is wildly off the mark.

Not the "standard" ones, you only get huge plumes of "vapour" from the devices designed/modified to create that effect.

Everything in vape juice has been around for decades and are in many every day products including toothpaste. Much research has been put into vaping including long 10 year studies.

I'm not a massive fan of smoking or vaping.

BUT...

I'm finding that those who vape cannot keep off their machines. Constantly in their hands, even slying a puff on public transport. Smokers don't have the option because it's obvious but I worry about how addicted the vapers are and I find it a bit of a turn-off. A lot of young kids casually using them as well. It isn't a godsend or a deterrent to smoking. It's just switched one addiction with another.

I Vape. I used it to quit smoking. Am I addicted? No. Not in the same way I was to cigarettes. Is it a 'crutch' to stop me going back to cigs? Yes, but it's been 7 years now and I'd much rather use this method than patches, pills or go cold turkey, which has frequently resulted in issues such as binge eating for others that I know.

I'm significantly healthier (yes, I've had all the blood pressure, heart and lung function, oxygen sats tests done) than I was when smoking, so if the price to pay is people thinking I look stupid vaping then so be it. I really don't care.

I don't like the idea of disposable capes and those seem to be attractive to younger people who've never smoked. But a lot of smokers like me started young and I know which I'd prefer a teenager doing.
