what do you like to do to push yourself outside your own comfort zone?

While nursing a horrible cold I decided to book myself on a Bootcamp weekend up North in the near future... I know I will ache lol.. but I love challenging myself sometimes.

I like to book fundraising challenges to combine visiting places on my bucket list with doing my bit for charidee, unfortunately had to cancel my last one (Cambodia) cos of my gammy hip, but had already raised £2k, did Machu Picchu in 2009 and raised £4k for that one...

Don't forget your vaccinations and visas if you're coming further north than Preston Aphro...

Bootcamp as in voluntarily signing up for (and paying!!) for a military style exercise program lasting two whole days...

Dengue fever is still endemic in some of the more rural parts of Cumbria and there have been isolated outbreaks of Ebola - and as for that bollocks that smallpox has been eradicated - just wear a surgical mask if visiting Scaryport Oh, and not forgetting the leper colony in Barrow...

Car boot sales (got folk to give me stuff), selling on ebay for charity, raffles, 50/50 sheets (buy a square for £1, when all 50 are sold, pick a winner to get £25), My ex did a Slimming World dinner party in a local restaurant and the profits went into my fund - if you signed up for something they'd give you all sorts of other ideas...Damned hard work, but hell of a sense of having achieved something and memories I'll never forget...Get something booked, google charity treks...pm me if you want any other info
