I missed this heatwave as I have been sitting on Studland beach when it started to rain and the wind picked up which made it feel like 18 degrees. Definitely wasn't warm for me.

What was the temperature in your area yesterday? (Please state your area)

Same here was 38 in Birmingham where I’m from drive to Bournemouth for it to be 24 lol with slight rain

I said to Ash it was cooler in Spain last month. I guess it's different when you are somewhere like Spain or Greece though because they are geared up better for the heat.

I think we’re in the same boat tonight. Temperature in the house is coming in at 26° & I cant do any more to cool it down. During the day id be more than happy with that when its tops off round the garden, not so much when its 2:30am

True. My room had air con in Greece and when I got too hot there were swimming pools and the beach.

I suggest we start a petition for more swimming pools.

Yes it's coming down in our flat too but the cat has nicked my fan!

Luckily I have no feline fan stealers but even if I did, I dont think much difference would be made!

I was in Scotland for 2 weeks in April this year. Brilliant sunshine for the whole fortnight.

I ended up keeping warm in the sea then put jumper and thick socks on at night....just my luck to be cold in a heatwave

Its true there is a lot but not near where I am staying. Plus its a family holiday lol. Didn't stop me from getting naughty last night though
