I've just been stung by a wasp- right on my cheek! Hurts like a fcker!

It blooming hurts! What can I do to stop it? I'm also at work in a secondary school tomorrow and don't fancy going in with a giant red patch on my cheek so any tips to bring swelling and redness down?

TIA!

Is the sting still in there?

If not then cold compress should work.

Have you got any antihistamines?

Don't scratch it.

Just googled this hope it helps xx

Apply hydrocortisone cream or calamine lotion to ease redness, itching or swelling. If itching or swelling is bothersome, take an oral antihistamine that contains diphenhydramine (Benadryl) or chlorpheniramine. Avoid scratching the sting area.6 Aug 2020

It will be fine by the morning. Unless you're allergic and need anti histamines which I assume you would have if you are.

I first thought vinegar. Maybe our mums put it on them.

I remembered the antihistamine afterwards.

Try pissin' on it..

Reminds me of an incident at school. Biology teacher teaching us and her husband in the next class room.

Wasp flew in, stung her left tit. Someone went to inform hubby who came running in, pulled out inflamed breast and started to 'suck the poison out'. OMG, tears of laughter in front of class of 15yr olds.
