13 is Mary Beth Lacey not Christine Cagney. Her husband was called Harvey but can't remember the names of their 2 boys.

Cagney wasn't married. She had boyfriends - including one detective who was a colleague - but no kids. She also had an alcohol problem.

Another piece of useless trivia: during the opening credits when they are both walking with a handcuffed man they've arrested and a flasher opens his coat, Lacey says to him, "Put that thing away, you don't know where it's been".

Hercules was the name of Steptoe and Sons horse. My dad was a big fan and always watched it so consequently so did we. I'm not 100% sure but I think it was Hercules
