What's the longest time you have owned a car for, and the shortest time before you bumped one

Shortist was 6 mths and ironically the one I bought to replace it was 14 yrs

About 8 years shortest 6 mths real pain in ass ended up being written off when lorry crushed whole side in !

Only had one car.

Have had it for 4 years without a bump.

My ex once crashed her rental car 2 hours in, which is a pretty short amount of time.

My shortest was about 2 months, driving down a residential street with cats parked both sides and someone pulled straight out of their parking spot in front of me. My one and only accident in a car aside from a few minor bumps and scrapes with inanimate objects.

My longest is 6 years.

Diagonally Parked in a Parallel Universe

Longest I've owned one is 8 years.

In 42 years of driving I've never bumped one.

I tend to get bored of cars and change them every 3 or 4 years. I've had my current car 18 months but will probably change that in a couple of years.

Most cars ive had last about 4 or 5 years before i get bored and want a new 1 ..current car is 5 now so due to be changed , shortest ive owned 1 is about 18months ... went off it really quick after a cpl visits to garage with faults

I’ve never bumped any car I’ve owned but I’ve never had a car longer than 2 years so I guess 2 years is my answer.

Longest was my first car at just over 2 yrs, which was written off during some really bad flooding in 2021

Shortest is the car i bought to replace that one .. so far 18 months
