"Take a hot bath ..it will regulate your body temperature and cool you down "

Along the same lines....have a warm shower and slowly lower the temperature

1) It's less of a shock to your system than getting into a cold shower

2) As suggested above, it will regulate your body temperature by cooling it down with the water rather than thinking it needs to ramp up your internal heating because you've plunged into cold water

Keep some damp cloth in the fridge. Take one or two out to place on the sides of your neck and over your ears for an immediate cooling effect.

Wet and ring a towel out and put it on your body infront of the fan, always cools me down.

A warm shower is supposed to be best for regulating core temperature. A cold shower or one that ends up cool/cold will only have a short-lived effect. Sweating is natural and our best friend in this weather, which means hydration is also more important than ever.
