Do you ever think what if when you think about fabbers that you drifted apart from?

Not been here long enough, but given how my brain works... it will happen one day

There's one that I regret drifting from. She was awesome and I occasionally wonder what could have been.

Alas, here we are! Onwards and upwards!

Drifted apart would tend to imply at some point you'd drifted together with someone, which in turn implies some kind of sustained and intimate communication with someone..... So no.

I read it more that it referred to someone I met regularly or that I had extensive communication with

Kinda. I've only met one person with any regularity here, but real life curtailed that for a time. We got on really well and I still think about her a lot. We're still friends on here (my only one here) and, although there are things in her life that mean she isn't meeting for a while, I'd like to think we might catch up again when she's ready.

We met a couple a little bit before lock-down. We kept in touch but couldn't meet. Then when restrictions lifted we found they had split up.

We think we know what if in their case and are gutted it never happened.

Yes...he did. Always came across as a gent and with 'that' twinkle in his eyes.

A big softie, with a good hearts.

Very often old friends will get back in touch, especially after they have left the site, and then returned to the fold as it can be somewhat addictive. It's invariably a pleasure to verify them again as well, and we usually always get together again at some point.

In a town full of colours

No. Because the drifting apart gave space for other experiences. I believe they were supposed to be in my life, for however long they were, but not meant to stay

Me too. Unfortunately, the one that opens always seems to be the trap door I'm standing on.

His "Caotian Saulding" was awesome.

Glad he found the one on here. Kind of weirdly romantic.
