I'd procrastinate before half arsedly finding out when the church hall was free, take another week deciding who to invite make...Book it, order the pork pies and shandy then not turn up on the day

Would depend on the type of party.

Birthday? Retirement? A.N. Other celebration? Sex?

Because a stripper at your boss's retirement bash may seem like a good idea...... likewise the big fruit bowl that comes out at swingers parties doesn't go down too well at wakes.

Every party needs a cheese and pineapple hedgehog though.
