I block people if they are not interested in me. Not really seeing the problem there. The thing is, unless you went to view their people or message them then you wouldn't know if you've been blocked.

No idea why this could possibly be a problem? They contacted you with an offer, you turned it down, they blocked you so they don't accidentally ask you again. Why would you even care (or indeed notice) you've been blocked if you don't want what they want? Or is it you've lost the ability to perv their pics?
