Thankful Thursday

In a world full of negativity, let’s sit back, take a sip of our coffee/tea/rum (it’s 5 o’clock somewhere) and think about what we are thankful for.

We can spend too long wallowing in the bad things and the sad things in life, that blinds you from all the good things we have going on.

I will start…

I am thankful for my upbringing, having a good job, my family and friends and the roof over my head.

Have a great Thursday people. Be kind and think of yourself and others x

I'm thankful for lovely people who start uplifting threads like this!

But today I'm also thankful for the sun shining, my health, being relatively comfortable in my life and having the opportunity to fulfil desires and ambitions.

I do this every day by keeping a gratitude journal. Today, I'm grateful for an email I got yesterday from my work that has really reassured me and given me a boost. I'm grateful that I've got no pain after running 12 miles yesterday. I'm feeling strong. And I'm grateful that it's a bit cooler today.

Great subject topic OP! Perspective can be a wonderful thing

I'm grateful for a secure job with decent pay allowing myself to not struggle as much with the cost of living. I'm also grateful for an amazing support system if that ever became an issue.

Big things to be thankful for mate. Definitely feeling fortunate not to be struggling as much with the cost of living crisis and wish the government would do more for those that are struggling.

As a family we keep a gratitude jar. Every day, or every good thing, write it on a piece of paper and pop it in. Take a read on bad days, and at the end of the year.

The sea is slightly less cold than normal (I’m an open water swimmer)

I have cold brew coffee in my fridge. Small pleasures, big luxuries make it possible.

My kids are content and happy.

I have an amazing partner and friends, and a fantastic mutual appreciation thing going on.

And a load of stuff too personal for fab Life

My mother for a multitude of reasons

My nephews for there innocence to the world, there smiles and laughter that can make a bad day disappear in an instant

My dance teacher for believing in me and allowing me to follow my dreams which have given me so many amazing experiences in life

The people who attend my dance/fitness classes and have supported me for 8yrs resulting in a healthy and growing business which is going from strength to strength

My friends for being my second family and a support network that has saw me through the best and worst of times

Sure life is shite at times but I’m thankful for all that I have and the people around me

X

This thread has come at the right time as I'm struggling to recognise the positives at the moment.

I'm grateful...

that I get to be a mum to such lovely lovely kids.

For my physical health.

For my fantastic GP's who are going above and beyond in helping sort the mental health.

To live in such a beautiful area where I can disappear into the countryside whenever I need to.

For my friends.

I'm thankful that the school holidays are starting next week and I will be able to drink rum at 10am. I'm thankful for Fabs (yes, seriously) as I hope to find a few hot hotties to unwind with.
