"A weighted blanket is just reminiscent of a lead jacket in the hospital Imaging Department. I don't like it. " I had one laid on my legs during an mri. It was a horrible feeling.

"Worth a try, not bought one yet, but defo want to feel being weighted down with a light tog duvet. " Mine has a moleskin texture on one side and a smoother texture on the other. I can't use wool, as it is always too scratchy, even merino is uncomfortable. This feels like a wet towel weight wise and the glass beads really take away the excess heat. First time I used it, I slept on my back, for most of the night. This is not the norm for me. I'm getting another blanket soon, before the sell out.

"Can they help with restless leg syndrome?" I don't have restless leg syndrome, but it stops me being generally restless and moving whilst sleeping.

"I can't bear to think of blankets in this heat! " Me too, but sleeping on TOP of it allows me to relax more, as the glass beads really work for me heat wise.

"I don't have a weighted one, but use old fashioned wool blankets tucked into the bed, I have a large wool duvet that is also tucked in. I've done this since childhood I struggle to sleep without the weight and things being tucked in. I did consider a weighted blanket by like the ability to change the warmth by adding and removing blankets as the temperature changes. " Tucked in: yes. Exposed feet: nooooo!

"Yes!! Love them.. I take mine with me when I go away " Cheaper to give them a seat on Ryanair, than to pay for as luggage, LOL.

"I love mine, although it does make it hard to want to get out of bed in the morning.... They do tend to slide off the bed if you're a fidget tho... as soon as one side had more hanging over the edge than another, it will creep over the edge like a suicidal throw... " I know what you mean. I tuck the bottom end in.
