Are you emotionally Intelligent?

Have you always been or learned over time.

I believe life experience have led me to be very emotionally intelligent.

I believe so. I had to learn to be because I was a mess 10 years ago as I had a lot of things from my childhood that I had to process and it took a long time to unpick it all. Once you start looking at where your feelings are coming from, you never really stop and being aware of where they're coming from is often key to managing and handling them. None of us are perfect and resisting emotion based reactions to things is HARD though. Sometimes you also need time to process feelings so can't always be fully aware of why you feel what you do in the moment.
