Paddock Wood, Kent

There are Facebook groups dedicated to this believe it or not. Offering both artificial and natural insemination.

Whatever your opinions I assume if you are desperate enough to have children and fill that void....

I would prefer to go to a licensed clinic. Recently a man was named by a judge and banned from being a sperm donor as he had already fathered over 150 children

I believe they're supposed to limit the number of children created by each donor, to prevent siblings who don't know they're siblings making their own babies thus unwittingly creating genetic issues.

Have a watch of "Our Father" on Netflix. Savage.

For.

As long as it's done through the proper procedure, under guidance by the HFEA and with the appropriate support and counselling.

I did mine through the hospital I had sexual health screening, blood tests and some other tests which I can't remember, then I did 10 donations which was weird and then they freeze the 10 batches for a year to make sure nothing comes up with my health screening (a sort of quarantine) then they started to use them. I had the snip straight after

When I went to the initial interview the embryologist said to me that they have a massive shortage of donors from this country, in fact they have to import sperm from Denmark....I replied she should get a load of 15yr olds up there she'd be awash with the stuff... sometimes I make inappropriate jokes

Oh... I havent seen this, but from the adverts, it looks like a fertility doctor used his own sperm to impregnate his patients, rather than using sperm from a donor which is what was meant to happen. He didnt tell his patients that he was using his own sperm, so they are pretty pissed!

Seen that documentary. I think some of 'the siblings' had been intimate.

Worthing

Did it loads of times in a fertility clinic. Was for altruistic reasons after reading so many testimonials from men who couldn't. There is also at least one lesbian couple who used mine.

Quite wierd knowing they chose me out of a catalogue.

Really recommend it to men to consider doing if you are under 45.

Me too, though a couple of twins with my lot. How did you find writing the letter to the potential kids that may want to look you up? I loved being part of the whole process

I’m against it. I had the snip just over a year ago. If Mrs wants another child she will have to find a new partner. I will not bring up another man’s child.

As for everyone else, I have no problem.
