Online I approach everyone the same… I don’t do it.

In real life, although it’s been a long time since I’ve tried to pull I don’t use lines.

I’m quite good at reading people. Within a couple of minutes of talking to someone I can usually judge what sort of humour I can use and just go with the flow.

They got a message saying “If Covid doesn’t take you out can I?”

I approach / talk to people on here in a similar way I’d talk to you in a bar, with the same or similar conversation starters.

I don’t think I’m any different chatting in person as I am online

No difference whether it be on here or in person. I wouldn’t use a “line”, I just politely introduce myself, try to feel what kind of response I get from that person and go from there. I find it so much easier in person though because showing your character and understanding someone else’s is so much more than just words in my humble opinion.

I can hand on heart, say that I’ve never used a ‘line’ to chat someone up. Come to think about it, I don’t even think I’ve ever chatted someone up. I wouldn’t even know where to start.

On here, I'll have a look at their profile and see if there's anything I can use to strike up a conversation. Or if it's part of a "forum game", use that as an ice breaker.

In person, I don't use chat up lines per say, just strike up a conversation. I travel a lot for work and tend to either use my accent as a way in, or get stick for it haha

No, not making first contact with a view to meeting up.

My messages are as a result of forum interaction, where occasionally, will fancy the person and ask them if they’d like to meet. That’s about it really.
