Not particularly. It's a good adjective. Usain Bolt, for instance, is an exceptional athlete.

Presumably you're talking about people using it as a descriptor on their own profile. In which case, I'd suggest just moving on to a profile which *does* suit you, rather than trying to change other people

Can't say I've seen a correlation between bmi and use of the word. I'm never sure what they mean by it. Exceptional oral skills? Exceptionally clean? Exceptional annual salary? It's a lazy word.

Are superlatives not subjective. People "grading" things on a curve, rather than to set standards, based on their own experiences in life.

If you like big tits you find a pair that is exceptional, but to someone who prefers small and pert, they are not (for example)

I've met many people on Fab I'd describe as exceptional. It's just a word and one that fits some people very well.

Do some people use it to describe themselves? Sure.

Do some people use it to describe the kind of people they're looking to meet? Yep.

Does that bother me at all? Nope.

It's far less offensive a term that calling people 'grossly overweight' in my opinion.

Grossly overweight people ARE exceptional. 'Unusual not typical'.

I find the people most offended by terms on profiles (exceptional, professional, no drug users, no bareback etc) are the people who are sad because they have been excluded. The more annoyed they are, the more sad they are that they can't fuck that person.

Incorrect again. My point was probably not articulated well enough.

Fab is not the real world. Men vastly outnumber women, this has led to people becoming arrogant based on the number of interested people.

In the real world people wouldn't be as interested.

I just think people should be more realistic and not use the term exceptional unless they are that themselves. I've not seem many model types of either gender tbh.

I've not been rejected or declined. I just don't think it's the best terminology.

I also have nothing against people of any weight. Unless they are arrogant, that's slim, average and grossly overweight.

Because people are allowed to have preferences, decide who they're interested in and who they're not, and who they are attracted to and want to meet.

It's nothing to do with 'respect'. And where the fuck does 'fairness' come into it?

Nobody is entitled to a meet just because they're 'nice'.

You don't get insist that people meet just because you're here. Its not a place where just by creating a profile someone has to meet you because it's 'only fair' that they do.

Some people will be very specific and choosy about who they want to meet and quite rightly so. If that means they choose to use a word like 'exceptional' or maybe 'good looking', 'fit', 'attractive' or 'toned' and that means they don't pick you.....it's not unfair!

Jeez. The use of that word (fair) reeks of entitlement.

I would politely suggest your question is a bit of a reach.

I have no issues with anyone declining me and stopped the thought process of 'getting my end away' in my teens.

We all have a choice and free will. I just simply don't like the terminology.
