Just been informed its Skipton for works Christmas do......It's a nice place to walk around in the day but at night I can't imagine it!!

Anyone know if its any good for a night out!!

Its not bad place cant speak for its 6 night clubs and 3 cassinos or the 2 lap dancing clubs ...... buts probalby down to fact they aint got non lol ....take rain coats wolly scarfe and extr think socks you need its its freezing there

go through Otley,then Ilkley,and its straight onto Skipton,keep going and you end up in the Lake District

Skipton is a very nice market town,lots of shopping and has one of the best shoe shops around,plenty of Pubs on the high street,and right at the top of the high st is Skipton Castle,and it has a lovely walk along the canal that runs through Skipton,

it does get busy on an evening,some of the pubs are heaving on a Fri and Sat,it used to have a nightclub not sure if it still does though
