My local news from the beeb is points west and it seems to staffed by a number of girls who have been doing the job for years, they are all lovely to see and brighten my mornings, for some strange reason I consider them my friends. This is not a sexual thing. Also I think the early week presenters on the main beeb news Sally Nugent and John Kaye make a very elegant nice couple. P.S. there is one exception to the sexual aspect and that was a morning many years ago when the stunning Ali Vowles came in wearing a mini skirt, the camera man spent most of the bulletien under her desk filming her legs I often wonder if he kept his job lol, this is a nice memory that is forever logged in my brain

I think local news teams try to be the friendly face of television. I notice a move towards that with national news too

I hope the camera man did lose his job. That's awful
