Yes. I have met a guy who was in a well known band. They had a top 5 hit in the British charts. They've been on totp. We still chat and meet to this day

Might it be the fascination in a life that is different to the 'mundaneness' of 'normality' in everyone else we come across. Isn't it the same reason why we read books, albeit that we know the character in the story is fictional or even a biography to peer inside the mind of the subject?
