"Do you feel that you are not really wanted there. I mean, at a wedding reception in the evening time. Because, you was not actually personally invited to their wedding." You're asking if somebody who isn't invited isn't wanted there? That seems like a fairly obvious answer to me. ![]()

"I was only invited to their actual wedding reception this evening. But, I am not going to go now. Because all (last night) and this morning aswell. I have thought long and hard about it. So, I have taken humbrage and I have 'spat-the-dummy-out' lol. ![]() Because you weren't invited to the ceremony? We had this at our daughter's wedding. The venue was limited and we couldn't afford to invite everyone we would have liked to. Some understood, some didn't. If it's been catered and you've accepted their invitation they will have spent money they could have saved but ultimately it's your choice.

Mr himself hadn’t been invited, and didn’t know the couple or anyone else there other than his friends he have a lift to. One friend invited him in, and Mr eventually relented after repeatedly saying no. Mr ended up being introduced to the newlyweds and was one of the last to leave. The bride and groom ended up spending an hour chatting to him and having a drink with him after most of the guests had left. Sometimes it’s true that strangers are friends you just haven’t met yet ![]()
