I'm thinking about getting it done for underarm and bikini.

If you've had it done how many sessions did it take and how much per session is it in your area?

Think it's about £150 a session here in Essex.

Was it worth it?

East Sussex

I've never had it done but I just saw an advert for something like £250 a session.

Eastbourne (she/they)

At the salon I have been looking at in Eastbourne it ranges from £50-120 per session depending on the area.

Bikini - 55

Underarm - 55

This is for IPL

Go on groupon. Most salons that offer it seem to do introductory deals as a bundle of 6 sessions.

A fraction of their normal price and if you have a few salons nearby just get a deal for another of them once the first deal runs out.

You'll save loads.

Manchester (she/her)

I bought an IPL device on sale last year for about £300 (during a Boots points offer, so I got a chunk of that back in points). It is something I have to keep up on and obviously electricity isn't free, but as someone with fairly light skin and mostly dark hair, it makes a big difference. (The lower the contrast between skin and hair, the less it works)

I mostly use it on my face, but I get thick black hair on my upper lip and chin. I started to notice bald patches around week 6. (You do have to shave in between, which isn't ideal)

Just ordered one for £63 for 6 sessions. Not that local but worth the drive to give it a go for that price. Thank you.

It depends your hair and also what hair laser removal are using , the first 4 sessions mostly face really was painful at the point i cried. But if you go to Skin Clinics , their hair removal machines are great as they use cold air what makes the process almost free pain . I apologize i haven't mentioned about the diferent types of machines , i was just describing my experience

Not a clinic experience, but my machine can be between pain free and slightly worse than snapping an elastic band against the skin.

Dundee

It costs £50 per session here to get my face done.

Groupon is a good way to go to reduce the costs though - I got my first 6 sessions for £35 with a groupon
