yes we will remember them , its just a pity they have to buy there own flak jackets etc out of there own pocket , and when they return and are laid up in hospital with there legs blown off they have to pay extra to watch the tv or make a phone call

and to think that they need the british legion poppy charity to help them or there spouses etc get by and make ends meet is absolutely dissgacefull

a charity in my mind is to give a tramp a new pair of trousers , or a decent meal .............

our armed forces should not need to rely on charity , and people standing outside supermarkets or going round pubs with a begging bowl

the charity workers do a wonderfull job but the funds should be there as a right for those that are in need
