Today couldn't have been better!

1. After getting a second opinion on a troublesome tooth, I was advised that it doesn't need to be extracted!

. Plus suggested other work required by my original dentist has been discounted by the second one. In all, this has saved me over £1200 potential costs.

2. After several eye check ups in the past couple of months, I got the letter from the hospital today that all is well and there isn't a possible sight problem.

3. My boss today said he was relaxing the company wide ban on holidays in December (usually our busiest month - but not this year!) and this means I can catch up on holiday time I'd otherwise have lost! Yippee!

4. My deputy at work announced yesterday that he'll be back tonight from sick leave (earlier than planned) and I can thus have this weekend off! Yippee!

Isn't life grand!
