Think before you name and shame

Listening to the radio today - it seems that a team of legal experts are trawling social networking sites looking for anyone who (wrongly) named a senior conservative figure as being involved in the abuse of children. Any who did post comments of this nature may now be pursued through the courts for compensation!

So all, please be careful when putting someone's name into the public domain - because if they are not guilty, or found to be guilty by a court of law - YOU may find yourself in court!

Sound advice though, OP - tried to get this over to Perky's daughter and her 'chums' over the dreaded Facebook. Soon it won't be people in the media taking action - it'll be Mums and Dads against the parents of kids who go in for cyber bullying.

Yeh it comes under the Malicious Communications Act, also there was an article about the copying of copyrighted photos which I read about... one for the pic gatherers and reposters to be aware of
