God, that was the best shakshouka I've ever made (thick North African spiced tomato/veggie/bean stew with poached eggs). Veggies on point. Spicing on point. Egg yolk ooze was borderline pornographic. Happy, full Timber.

Best of all, I've got leftovers for tomorrow

What did you lot have??

Well done! Love it when you make something that just hits the spot and you can be like ‘I did that, go me!’

I cheated tonight - takeaway for me and my daughters, but yesterday I did a duck roast dinner, home made Yorkshire puddings, home made gravy, baby roast potatoes in herbs and garlic, broccoli, cauliflower, peas and baton carrots at my parents house. Was delicious!

Leeds

Red onion and cheese quiche, boiled tatties, cabbage, broccoli and carrots. A kind of ‘what needs using’ tea. Not as nice as some of the other meals on this thread.

Omg I was craving ramen so bad the other day. Never got to have it

What flavour did you have?? I like to add some mixed frozen veggies to mine and make it into a broth type thing

Oooooh I had a small amount of spaghetti left over the other day. Put it into a ramekin, sprinkled mozzarella over and popped it in the air fryer for a couple of minutes. Quick pasta bake

I wanted popcorn so bad today but the little tesco near me literally ran out. Like, how does that happen

Oof. That's hands down my favourite brunch

Completely spoilt last time I ordered it in a restaurant by the addition of slices of rubbery chorizo style stuff and cheader cheese.

Nooooo it doesn't need meat!!

I did add some soft goat's cheese and fresh basil to mine as I plated it up though. Total game changer

Years back I was on a lads holiday in Tunisia. On day I ordered ojja at a restaurant. After a fancy explanation I was eventually served egg and chips much to my mates amusement. I tucked in anyhow.

Then another waiter abruptly appeared, snatched away the egg and chips and served cooked peppers and tomatoes in harissa with poached eggs.

I cooked it at home for years afterwards.

Now it’s known as shakshuka but I still call it ojja.

Anyways, tonight I had grass fed beef as detailed in a separate thread..

So easy! No pre boiling required! I heat olive oil in an oven proof dish, add whatever herbs and a few cloves of garlic, bay leaves and salt, chuck the potatoes in, 20-30 mins med-high heat - delicious!

Popcorn is less common than cake these days. I make my own and got Hella flavas
