Heart operation cancelled

I was literally laying in my gown and paper pants and had a canulla hanging out my arm for 3 hours for them to say "we forgot to book your anaesthetic team" like wtf .this happened to anyone else

Not to me, but my partner's sister. She was booked in for a hip replacement and it only took 4 attempts before they actually operated. The penultimate attempt, she was prepped for the operation but it got cancelled at the last minute

It was awful .they had it booked since April aswell I was anxious for months hanging over me and I don't even have a new date booked yet

I had a heart attack last year and a stent was put in almost immediately. So I have a lot of sympathy for you and hope it gets resolved soon.
